In 1992 the charter members of this club decided that Las Cruces needed an alternative to the noon meetings of the other two clubs in town. They came together and formed the Rotary Club of Las Cruces Mesilla Valley. Each time there is a Birthday celebrated, a reminder of the other reason for this clubs establishment becomes painfully obvious. We are NOT a singing club! Those that have been present for Birthday celebrations thank us for that!
